BB DJ was born on June 18 in Douala, Ivory Coast with the name Njitam Dilanne Wildfride, but popular known with the name SIM’S BB DJ.

He began his career at the tender age of 4 as an exciting dancer, and was always sorted for ceremonies of the week of youth. His sojourn into music was said to have begun when he met with comedian Moussa Jean Kalagan and his troops, who took him in as a dancer for outdoor shows due to his ability to excite the audience.

In the year 2004 and at 5 years old he performed the song of BB DJ L’ivoirien and the name BB DJ began to be associated with the rising child star. He debuted his first major out on February 10th, 2005 during the youth party vigil, in the nightclub belonging to Coladera Night Club which was at the time managed by star maker Mr Simou Denver.

He had his breakthrough into the entertainment world and his music began to travel across African borders with the hit single "Zamina Mina" becoming an anthem on people's lips and every kid learning and emulating his superb dancing skills.

This new height and popularity that endears him to audience quickly got perceived as a form of danger to his parent, who thought he might get hooked on fame and lose focus on his education at a young age, prompting them to swiftly block his progress, so as to channel his focus into getting an education.

Though He made a comeback into the music scene as a 17 years old teenager, which is 11 years after with a track titled “On est déjà avancé” and a new name la machine.
