Today October 1st is Nigeria's Independent day, while the day is one which usually comes with much celebration, there are Nigerian artists who might not be drawn into celebrating the day, due to the state of events of the country and how it has handled its affairs which they view with disdain and have occasionally spoken against in the turn out of such events, like the EndSARS chaos that occurred in the country, such celebs might include:

Mr Macaroni: he is a popular comedian who has carved a reputation for himself and a social critic of the government's administration of events in the country, the role he played in voicing his contempt towards SARS was loud enough, he would go further to protest against the reopening of the Lekki Toll Gate which was the venue where the EndSARS shooting took place, he hasn't stopped criticizing the government's affairs, and this independent wouldn't mean much to him as the country's condition remains the same.

Davido: Being a rich kid and a successful celebrity, many people opine that he should be distanced from the activities of the country I'll leadership, but he has often voiced his contempt at the impudence of the government and wouldn't have much to celebrate on independence day.

Rudeboy: he is one of the few celebrities that first turned up on the EndSARS protest venue to voice his complaint, he has always voiced his feelings towards government's administration of things that are often I'll, he will see no reason to celebrate the country's independence today.

Runtown: He is also one musician that decided to take the bull by the horn by leading the EndSARS protest, he has often spoken of bad leadership and the country's independence will not change anything to make him celebrate.

Small Doctor: Small Doctor is another celeb who will not find celebrating the country's independence a cool thing to do, as he was loud and clear in registering his feeling during the EndSARS protest.
